For this week, we got a lecture on storytelling in film. from this lecture we got to learn and understand about 3 act structure, which consists of beginning, middle and end with two plot point in between.
- Plot point 1
Act 2: Middle - Confrontation, rising action, complications
- Plot point 2
Act 3: End - Resolution of problem, answer to obstacles
After explaining the 3 act Mr Martin showed us a few videos and while watching them we got to identify and categories the scenes using the 3 act structure.

In the 1st class , we were all briefed on our final project to know what is our final project about and what are the processes in between which will be our projects. than for our 1st project, we are required to produce a proposal including the story outline, main character, Introduction, storyboard and visual references.
Our task for this week is to start doing research and think of ideas on any issue concerned.
A list os some of my ideas
- Save the world / Recycle starts from home
- Save lives stop red light running
- Stop the violence don't drink and drive
- Remember to turn off or stop cooking when u leave your house
after explaining my topic Mr Martin ask me to work on the second title and give a simple storyline about the title the best it comes with some visual.

"Save lives stop red light running"
- One day there was a couple or friends walking by the roadside and they want to cross the road " light turn green for crossing sign".
- Walking half way they stop and ran because one car was speeding and the car was trying to rush over the red light, lucky enough they was save.
- So than they was complaining or giving some angry expression on their face and they look at the car who rush over the red light.
- they have another half of the road to cross, so this time they look carefully before they cross the girl try to run over the road but the friend didn't.
- half way through the crossing light when red and the friend shouted at her because there is one car driving very fast coming towards her.
- Before she can react she was bangs by the car.
- The end is to remind people in Malaysia that is not good to drive fast and rush through red light and is also not good for some of the people in Malaysia to cross the road when the crossing sign is still red.

To do a further development of idea for my story :
The theme of my story is : " SAVE LIVES, STOP RED LIGHT RUNNING "
For this story, I wish I can spread the message to everyone out there, it doesn't matter are u driving or u cross roads in this context. You cant just cross the road by not following the crossing lights prepared for u or you should follow the traffic lights indication " GREEN " - Go, " YELLOW " - reducing your speed and stop, " RED " - stop. I am trying tp say here is when you're taking over the wheel or you're walking at the side of any road, you're actually having a very big responsibility to take care of other peoples life or safety, why would I say so because if you're driving u have to follow rules and do not anything else beside focusing on driving and on there other side while you're walking by the side of the road u have also a very big responsibility to also follow the rules, dont just run over the road because 1st its dangerous for u, u may be in danger, 2nd u may be safe by running over the road without following the rules but u may cause accidents because of cars trying to escape or trying to divert away to not hit on u but they end up driving up the divider banging the big tree at the side of the road or may be while trying to escape you they hit the next car beside them where that cause accident.
So pls be Responsible on your safety and life but not forgetting also must be Responsible on others safety and life too.

28/10/2018 ( Week 5 )
This story is of a bunch of teenagers walking by the side of the road, talking, and some playing with phone. They want to cross the road but 2 of them cross the road without following rules and the Pedestrian lights, all friends asked them to stop and don't cross when the light is still red, both of them didn't care they just look left look right and then start to cross, they almost finish crossing the road suddenly out of no where one car was speeding and run through the red light although its not their turn, after the friends saw that car speeding towards them they shouted at both of the friends, before they can react, the driver saw them running over he also tried to escaped and he was non able to stop for the red light , lucky enough both of them is save but not the driver who is driving very fast and running through the red light and the innocent driver from the opposite side of the road who was driving a at right speed and driving across the T junction while his traffic light was green.
To conclude this story is be responsible on your safety and others safety.
Breaking the story in to the 3 Act structure:
Act 1 :
A bunch of friends walking at the side of the road.
Plot Point 1 :
Two of the friend wanted to cross the road without following the rules and following the pedestrian light.
Act 2 :
Suddenly one car was speeding very fast, dashing thought both of them.
Plot point 2 :
The bunch of friend where is still waiting for the pedestrian light to go green, shouted at them asking them to run faster there is a car coming towards them.
Act 3 :
Lucky enough both of the friends and the driver reacted fast , where both of them ran to the side of the road and the driver escape them but unfortunately the driver cant stop on time for the red light he bang onto the on coming car.

After the Martin identifies and separated our class into 8 groups and he will choose one one of our idea to present it to our client "FastJobs" than our client will choose 6 groups where they think the idea works and the other groups will dismiss 2 groups and the members will help the others. there is two groups were chosen to dismiss but Mr Martin has gave the two group a second chances to execute their idea. One of the group decided to dismiss and the other group choose to stay put and execute their idea.

After changing some of the parts of Thooba's story we came out with a slides to present to the director 1st where he will identify does our story works and they will give us some feedback to change before we meet the client next week. where the feedback to Thooba's story was, its was no connection of the story to the client and the story is long and boring at the same time hard to understand. So basically we have to come out with another idea before next week.
after the presentation we all sit down and discuss about where I came out of a idea to do something similar where we keep " frustration of his job " as the main idea of the new story, and through fastjobs app the main character found his favourite jokes which is being a barista.

Today we have to present our idea to the client, the feedback was the new idea was very good but there is one part of the story where he decided to sell all of his assets away and move out from the busy city life was too dramatic, we have to change or improve on that part of the story line. Basically everything is good and clear.

After getting back the feedback we came up with a different approach.
