INSTRUCTIONS




02/04/2019 ( Week 1 )

In our first class of this module, we were briefed and introduce to what this module is all about and how are we going to move forward from the previous module. 

1st, for our project we have to create a draft of our dissertation, the contents that are needed is too included in the assignment brief. we were told to refresh our memory on our slides from the previous semester. 

In the class ms jinchi told us to create a matrix for out topic. Based on our research question we have to highlight the key words which we will be discussing in our dissertation. For each keyword/topic, we need to have different columns for individual columns.

     




09/04/2019 ( Week 2 )
after the matrix's is done we have to start to work on the draft of the dissertation which includes:

16/04/2019 ( Week 3 )
for this week consultation, ms jinchi called us to start writing the 1st part of discussion which is the meaning of information graphics and traditional method, and also if possible it would be good that I can start doing the intro and ending of each section in the paper and by next week she wants to see the complete part of the few definitions in the discussion.    

23/04/2019 ( Week 4 )
for this week I managed to show my progress on what I needed to do for last week, and ms jinchi said it would be good that I give a brief explanation of what is visual communications in general which will make the reader understand better while reading my dissertation. as for my visual communication part I have to add in some point talking about the infographic and traditional method.

30/04/2019 ( Week 5 )
as the discussion is almost done, ms jinchi said that for some part in the discussion should be categorised in to different points where I should give it a subtitle and start to talk about it so it will make the reader clearer on what are they reading on for the individual sub topics. 

07/05/2019 ( Week 6 )
the due date is on Friday as we have to submit the soft copy and hard copy.    


FEEDBACK


Week 2 - feedback
For my matrix some of the details can be elaborated further. I have to state some key words in the literature to be specific. For my collected data, I have to be more specific on which question or answer that I have collected which benefits. For my cross review, some point I have to state it clearly, I still have a write my paper in a more academic way, but there is some improvement from the previous semester.


Week 3 - feedback
I have to write 2 definition which is the meaning of information graphics and traditional method, adding in introduction and ending for every topic.


Week 4 - feedback
I have to add on the introduction and ending for discussion, subtopic and I have to add on some aspects of information design and some aspects of traditional method and I have to add in point 2, 3 which is Visual communication (define, theory, apply to infographics and traditional methods), How effective in infographic vs traditional method. I have to put in 2 case study for my visual communication to discuss.


Week 5 - feedback
There is too much information in a paragraph, I have to categories it in to parts and section. Give a subtitle, putting in the primary data with the support of my secondary that I have read. i have to change my cite, only put in the ( surname, year ). For citation is must be in APA format.
