Task 1
For task 1, Taylors is celebrating the International Rubber Duckie Day, as they put up a huge yellow rubber duck on the lake. so for my 1st task I have to plan on how we should promote the Huge Rubber Duck we had on the Taylor's lake, on the Taylors instagram platform, 1st I have to plan out the post of the rubber duck for the instagram feed, 2nd I have to plan out instagram stores for the rubber duck, 3rd I have to plan out on how we could make some interactive with the rubber duck through insta story. So I planned a few questions for the student to answer it while they are watching our instagram story. On the other side Taylor's want to celebrate the Rubber Duckie day with the Taylors duck and also at the same time, we are also selling small rubber ducks at campus as a donation for the "Pertubuhan Pusat Kebajikan Destiny" so my task here is to promote both, the huge rubber duck and the the stall that is selling the rubber duck.Problem, Action, Result
For this task I did not faces any problem as it was just something that I was familiar with which is instagram post.What I've learned from this task
For this task I've learned that, its very important for us as a institution to communicate/interact with the students, as our aim/goal is to make the students feel homely and also make them fell that we "Taylor's" cares and will always be there for them, as this task aim is to communicate and interact with the students via Instagram post and instagram story.Task 2
For task 2, I have to design a brand new page for " The Riser" in the Taylors university website, but 1st I have to come out with ideas, design and some visual references for June to approve before I start working on it. On the other hand, I have to also think of the style of images that will be used in in the website. After everything have been approved, I start working on the website. Till the end of the week when the website is done, there is some changes that is needed to be done as the logo of "The Riser" is finalise, the look of the website has to aline with the logo design given. I have to find new images to be used in the website, as I have to always keep in mind that we are targeting youngsters as they are our target group of people that will be using the website more, so images must be applicable and looks interesting enough for them to be interested to click in. Beside that, the mobile view of the website will also be an important point for me to keep in mind where for now, most of the people have a mobile and as its much more convenient for them to view and find information through their mobile. After proposing the final website design, there is some changes is needed to be done and also some of the content is overlapping each other in the mobile view of the website, as I have to think of another way of layout for the content that is needed to be in the website and the layout must work on desktop and mobile. Within two days the Website is live on the Taylors university website.
Problem, Action, Result
There are a few Problem that I faced this task 2, the 1st one was I took me some time to get familiarise with the new software that have been introduced to be when I start working as an intern in Taylor's. 2nd, I have to read and go thought some of the analytics that I was not familiar with to find out the comparison of traffic from desktop and mobile. The 3rd problem I face is, balancing both the desktop and mobile view to look good at the same time. The Action I took for the problem is to asked more and explore it out more to get a faster understanding and familiarising AEM. the 2nd Action I took for task 2 is also by asking June and asking around on how to get and find the correct data for the task. 3rd action I took for this task is coming out with a design where having small tile for individual content and pulling out the important articles out to attract more people to click in. The 1st Result is it took me just 3 days to get used and familiarise with AEM. The 2nd Result for task 2 is workable and is also been approved by the high-level too that has been said it looks much more better and more interesting. For this task I've learn that if we would want to create something new or come out with some new ideas for the company, we will always have to keep in mind of the rule and regulations of the company itself and we also must always keep in mind that who are the targeted audience that we are designing for, as they are the ultimate end user of all and what we design and cater for them. the next thing that I have learn from this task is we have to be very independent and adaptive on what we are working on and surrounding of us, it was a big step for me to handle a task on my own just on my second day of internship in the company and also getting used to the terms and application that they use.
What I've learned from this task

Task 3
For task 3, I was briefed on a new task where, I need to propose with a new layout design for the SHINE award website as because we will be update, editing, adding and changing informations that is on the website already. After everything is up, I have to redesign and redo the layout of the website of "SHINE" because it does not looks good and the flow of content is not there yet, where we need to lead people from the start of the website till the end, if the content placement and thing on the website is not interesting, we will lose out all the attention and they will leave the site it the content is not interesting. It's important that we keep our viewers from the start till the end and click or move to the next site will be great. After some changes that have been made, the website is done.
Problem, Action, Result
The main Problem that I faced in Task 3 is to create engagement with the viewers to make them scroll and see the website till the end. For task 3 the Action I took is to shorten out some content and merging some content together to make the scroll of the website more shorter. For task 3 the Result is also good where combining and removing some content together it makes the website looks more interesting and shorter so it won't be so boring and for the view to scroll.
What I've learned from this task
For this task I've learn that beside designing something for the company, although we have to follow what our manager says, but if the end product that we have done or design doesn't looks nice, the step I made for this redesign of the SHINE website is, I put myself in a students perceptive where I as a student what would I want to see 1st and continuation of information that I would like to know about the program that they are offering to us. So after stating out the points for the website, I went to my manager and explain them her on why would I make this step or putting up only the important content out and redesign it in a not the better way. and the end result is my manger likes the critical and creative thinking I have on the task that was given to me to handle. so I have learn that although rules are there for us to follow but, why don't we trying playing it around the rules with a relevant reason, you may be surprised with the result.Task 4
I had a briefing for a new task 4 where I have to redesign and plan out a new layout for the "Centre Future Learning" website in the Taylor's University website. After the briefing, I had a meet up with a staff from the CFL department to ask and clarify things up, so I will have a clear mind of how to design and what to put in the website it self. So after meeting up with a staff in Centre Future Learning, I started to to do some research on many colleges and university's website where how I should portray my information which the student would be interest to know on, some of the university focus on what kind of facilities that they have for the student to use, some focuses on the achievement that they had for the university, and some focus on the benefits that the student can get from them. So after all the research that I have done, I came out with a few design for the website. The 1st layout I had in mind which i think its workable is, by show the awards and achievements we had in the university, 2nd followed by the support that we provide to the students in Taylor's, 3rd is showing the the events, updates and also announcements that CFL wants to show the student, the last part of the website is Showing the people who are behind the Centre of Future Learning for example All the head of individual different section in CFL itself. When I propose this idea and flow of content, June she likes my idea on how I make it like a story telling process for the Audience to flow on while scrolling the website.
Problem, Action, Result
The 1st Problem that I faced in Task 4 is by understanding the whole task and also all the information and different side of information that I have to know before hand about Centre of Future Learning. 2nd problem is, how would I portray out all the important content and create a great experience for the student to make them scroll and see the website till the end. For task 4 the Action I took for the 1st problem is by asking more from my supervisor on wheat she knows about CFL, and I request for more information that would be beneficial to me while designing the website for CFL, the second way for me to seek for more information before designing the website is meeting up with some facilitator and people that is in CFL it self because they are the best bunch of people that I can seek information for and also to answer all my questions I had in mind. 2nd action I took for second problem is by putting myself in a students perspective and what would I want to know from the website 1st than continually, plus I did more research on other oversea university as to get some inspiration from their website to see how would they portray their information for the students to read and know from. For task 4 the Result for both problem was great as, I 1st gathered a lot of information and it took me sometime to understand all the information that was given to me. After I got the clarification of all my questions I have a better and clearer mind on what to do and what to design for the website. after the design is done the way I lay my information out for the student to scroll through the website, has been praised by the managers.
For this task I've as it was just a simple task where I have to find images that is relevant or find an image that portray the clubs best where once people look at the image they know what is the club about.
What I've learned from this task
For this task I've learn that communication, understanding of accurate information and understanding what the end user will get from the website that I will be designing for. For example, when I was 1st brief for this project, I was totally lost as I don't know anything from the CFL itself, so I went and seek for information and also meet ups with Staff from the CFL to get a better understanding of what are all its about before I start designing the website. 2nd is also putting ourself in the end user's perspective on what would they want and get from the website that they are visiting.Task 5
For task 5, I was brief on what should I do for this task, it was basically a easy task where o have to just update the list of clubs and society's information to the Taylor's website, and the second part of this task is by looking for images for the new clubs and also coming out captions for the new clubs and society that will be added on later on.
Problem, Action, Result
The main Problem that I faced in Task 5 is by finding the accurate image for the new clubs and society where June said we need to choose a image that just be as relatable as possible to the title of the club, it was a challenging task where the new added clubs has no background for me to read on and there is no visual for me to see on what are they actually doing in the club. For task 4 the Action I took is by contacting the person in-charge of the club and clarify out what are the individual clubs and society are all about. The Result is, after I got the information cleared and I also got a few more website where we can get great images from, as the task was actually not a hard task, is just by understanding the information given.
What I've learned from this task
For this task I've as it was just a simple task where I have to find images that is relevant or find an image that portray the clubs best where once people look at the image they know what is the club about.
Task 6
For task 6, I was brief on by updating the whole website and also all the informations that is in the website must be updated, as this website "Inbound Summer Programme" is a website where Taylor’s University comprises of short-term courses ranging between 2 – 4 weeks depending on the learning components and outcomes to be achieved from each programme. Students usually elect to enroll for these courses during the semester break. All courses are conducted in English and most are credit bearing.
Problem, Action, Result
The main Problem that I faced in Task 6, after I updated all the information and also upload all the new PDF of updated catalogs for all the individual subject, when it was done I had too request June to make the website live on the Taylor's website, so when June activate the website, when I try to look and click to double check on all the catalogue to download it, and it leads us to a broke link. The Action I took for the problem is by asking June to deactivate the website 1st and I went to Qi Xiang our "web editor" to ask on what is the problem on the broken link, so he showed check my file to see did I upload it accurately. The Result is he told me that the way I upload my file is wrong and he thought me the correct way to upload all the different files that we have in the website, for example images, pdf, video and etc, it has its own way to upload it correctly.
For this task I've learn that although the Application that we used to design all the site on Taylor's University website is the same, which is Adobe Experience Manager. They have different ways to upload the different files that we are showing it on the website.
