Project 1 - Image Recreation

This is our first project, we were given an assignment by Mr hafiz. Our task is to recreate an art work of an original paintings. We were told to choose one painting from the internet any by using stock image as well as our very own photograph if we want, we have to try our best to combine our assets together to form the recreation.

By using stock image from either pixabay, freepik, pexels and more. We were required to word on a HDTV canvas which means that we need to work out our composition and how we plan out to recreate our chosen artwork because of how long the canvas turned out to be. It will not be so appealing if the original photo would be stretched out for me to create so what I did was that using content aware scale, I adjusted the original photo to fit into the film template and had no choice.

Me as a beginner , it took me awhile to get used to photoshop's tools, I thought by the basic skills that I have was enough with a perfect out come but after I start doing , I notice that is not easy I need to learn and master it to use it on this or future project. I experimented that vector masks, smart object, colour matching and so much more form this assignment and the process managed to get easier but it was definitely very time consuming and for me is was not easy to do.

After so long of working on this project , I managed to achieve the layout of the composition, gibing me an idea of what the outcome would be like. Stock image was not easy to find which was that I was worried about but I tried my very best to obtain the similarities.

To conclude this project , there is a few things that is not easy to complete, 1st is hard to find a similar image, 2nd is not easy to get the accurate mood of the original art work, 3rd after everything is done I can't get the feel of the whole art work , so I decided to ask my lecturers, they asked me to Create a filter above all the layer, after creating the filter the mood its almost there compared to the original image.
