LECTURE NOTES
We were given a lecture about the fundamentals of film production for our project 2. Film production is the process of making film, the initial story, idea of the story, or commission, thought scriptwriting, casting, shooting, directing, editing and screening the finished products before an audience that may result in a theatrical release or television program.

For project 2, we are required to shoot a re-creation of a 2015 short film, called Lalin 


Mr Martin gave us a short brief about the latin shooting practice and spilt us up to 3 groups where. my group mates are :

After the group is confirm we sat outside of the class in a circular le and began to discuss about our rules before mr mart chose the scenes for us. For the actors, Dong Yong and Linda agreed to act as Nut and Lalin and others including me will be as a part of the crew.

26/09/2018 ( Week 5 )
Today was the day for our group to do our shooting. We arrived early to our location to start off setting up with make up for our actors and around 9 we start shooting.

Week 6 - Second video shooting practice 

 For this shooting practice Mr Martin showed us a video that is called "Ake Demo". where are assign to recreate, it a Thailand video. We were split into four group which groups has 6 members. For this exercise the team has me , allen , irfan, jia jin , Afsah, JQ, Jennifer and Thooba. my group was chosen to shoot the " emotional theme ".

 After the position is identified we have to come up with the story board for our own theme by using the template given by mr Martin. " emotional theme "

Week 7 

 Our group found a location which is out of the university to get a better venue to shoot as similar as possible comparing it with the original video.

When we arrived at the shooting location, we start to set up everything, the lightning took the longest time to set up because the shop itself was quite dimmed it took us a long time to get the right position of the lighting. After all the set up were done, we start to shooting and the shooting went well, we had a lot of fun when shooting since the storyline of the video was hilarious, because we all were hard-working and well-cooperated, we wrapped up the shooting session in a short period of time.









Everything went smoothly and on we ended the shooting before estimated time as we took 45 mins to set up and 45 mins to shoot and around 15 mins to keep everything. I was very happy that everything went so smooth and everyone work happily and everyone corporate that is why the process was smooth. after everything is done we have to edit the video individually.

Chong Siong Loong Ron ( 0334452 ) Digital Imaging and Photography  Final project - Cinemagraph -  Surrealistic Parallax INSTRUCTION abc 29/06/18 (week 14) Our final project is basically consisted of making a cinemagraph - surrealistic gif which could be loosely based on using stock images and images on free images websites or any images of our own. 1st thing that came to my mine was to do a tea pot pouring out blue tea to the cup endlessly like those gif we usefully see online.
